Ministering to Children
THE BIG PICTURE
It is our desire to partner with parents as we help your children grow in a deeper relationship with Jesus. We welcome children from birth through 5th grade to learn about Jesus in a safe, fun and friendly environment. Curriculums are specifically picked for biblical accuracy and age appropriateness. We offer a wide range of Sunday School classes geared specifically for the age of the child. Our Nursery and Sunday School classes (from pre K-1st grade) are offered at both of our Sunday morning services, with Junior Church available for the 2nd-5th graders during the 10:45 a.m. service. All volunteers for KidZone have completed our certification process. Adult volunteers have been fingerprinted and completed a background check.
Babies and toddlers receive loving care and introduction to the Bible.
We teach about God through Bible stories in a fun-filled atmoshpere.
Children are challenged to memorize and hide God's word in their hearts.
2nd & 3rd Grade
We teach children to love God and others and equip them with the armor of God.
4th & 5th Grade
Children learn to apply God's word to their lives and to survive in today's world. Straight from the Bible, our teachers present lessons to children through interactive study, crafts, and games.
For 2nd to 8th grade during second service, children will love the Bible study, Mission Force service to our community, and games. We're teaching children to be on mission and serving God, His church, and others.
Special Needs Class
For pre-K through 12th grade during second service, children with special needs can come to this class for added support provided by a trained adult leader and, as available, a one-on-one buddy. Participate with a buddy in mainstream class or stay/take a break in the special needs room.

Awana is an international program with a consistent biblical method that is extremely successful in reaching children, teenagers, and parents. Antelope Springs has five clubs:
Cubbies – Preschool
Sparks – K-2nd grade
T&T (Truth & Training) – 3rd-6th grade
TREK – Middle School
Journey – High School
Each Awana meeting is divided into three sections: Games, Small Group Time, and Council/Large Group time. Older clubbers also serve as Leaders-in-Training. Memorizing Scripture is a top focus of Awana students, helping to keep God's word in their hearts all through life.
VBS: VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Coming in July is Shipwrecked, a weeklong high-energy summer evening program that engages much of our church family, and your kids won't want to miss it! On average, 150 children from pre-K to 6th grade join in the fun of Bible discovery, music & songs, games, skits, water play, snacks, and more, all while discovering Jesus' love and saving grace. Another 75 teens and adults put together the week's activities, dress up, and offer lots of excitement to the week. VBS is nightly from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and is $20 per child, which includes a T-shirt. To register, volunteer, or donate click here.
Each year, children at Antelope Springs spend a month practicing songs and learning lines so they can bring the message of Jesus' birth and God's love to our church family and guests. The kids do an amazing job of acting and singing at this special annual performance.
