Getting to Know Our Lead Pastor at Antelope Springs
I grew up in Roseville, and when my wife, Becky, and I married we bought a house in Antelope. We started attending Antelope Springs Church when Jim Tillman was the Senior Pastor, and it was under his teaching that I learned about salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Becky, our son Chance, and I were baptized on November 23, 2003 in the baptismal under the stage at Antelope Springs.
My background is varied and colorful, but always characterized by serving those in need, which is a core value at Antelope Springs—“see a need, meet a need.” My goal is to lead us all further down the road on our journey from here to Him by getting involved in our community and sharing Jesus with our friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
I graduated from Liberty Theological Seminary (transferred from Western in 2008) with Master of Arts in Religion (Christian Leadership) and Master of Divinity degrees in May, 2011. In January 2012, I became the part-time Associate Pastor of Antelope Springs Church, and a year later I became the Interim Senior Pastor of Antelope Springs on January 1, 2013. The congregation confirmed my calling, and I became the Lead Pastor in September 2013.
Becky and I have been married for almost 24 years. Our adult son Chance is a barber and actively involved in serving at Antelope Springs. Our daughter Faith is in middle school and loves Jesus and babysitting, serving in the nursery most Sundays. Our family also has stewardship of one “Aloysius Precocious Terrorist” (Allie) a Jack Russell Terrier who enjoys chasing lizards and laser dots, hot showers and sleeping under the covers.
